ive tried listening to this like 3 times now and i cant get into it. and i usually love electronic battle music -like in streets of rage 4 or like a dragon for example. but this is just so busy and squeaky and hurts my brain

and also ive never played PSO2, so now im starting to have existential dread like oh god, maybe vgm is only good if you have the proper context for it. maybe vgm just isnt that good by itself???

and this next one is from pikmin 4, another game i havent played, BUT at least i know pikmin 1 & 2 had dope music so im sure this ones gonna be good...

Oh hey an actual song! I actually imported this game and just started playing it recently, which is kinda a crazy coincidence. violins are my jam - they are literally my favorite instrument, and any battle song that incorporates them is getting praise. horns and piano get me hype too. actually this song fucking goes places by the end??? i like it!

For some reason i hate harvestella without ever playing it, so let's see if this music is good-

-wow i was not expecting literal nier music. im a sucker for epic battle music, and this rocks. im gonna play this next time i play dnd. i just had no idea this game had an actual soundtrack. well done.
