Of the handful of people I've personally known in my life who are/were asexual, at least half of them I suspect have never had a good sexual partner or have some trauma involving SA that they haven't worked through.

I recognize that this is a shitty and dumb assumption to make of all ace people. It leads to me wonder how representative the ace people I've known are of the broader ace community.
