It's marvel, everybody in there has done some pretty messed up stuff and caused a shit load of innocents to die at one point, you'll be hard paced to find any hero who doesn't have the blood of the innocent on their hands, that's just inevitable as these characters go through hundreds of different writers over several decades since their original conceptions as each and every writer has their own personal politics, biases and favoritism/haterism towards certain characters that influence their writing.
