She'll be the nominee by default if Trump gets convicted, but there's a small part of me that thinks she sees just how bad Trump is for their party and is working to erode that base. About 22% of voters who voted for Nikki Haley in South Carolina won't vote for Trump if he's the nominee. He's barely winning the primaries as the de facto incumbent.
