Some movies are more efficiently made than others I guess The Marvels is a high concept, special effects heavy movie with a big cast. So while I think it would have been smarter of them to make it cheaper, $278 million isn't that crazy of a number. I mean, it's not hard to see where the money went. But $200 million for a Joker sequel... What the fuck are they spending it on? (And I don't know if I'd give Dune that much credit for being efficient. There aren't that many different locations to show, and compared to other science fiction franchises the technology isn't very flashy so it's relatively cheap to make into movies.) --- "It's tootsin' time."
