It's more of a shrug your shoulders affair I felt, perhaps I am difficult to offend in the realm of cinema. There have been much, much worse films that never get the spotlight on them though. This implies this is part of some sort of giant marketing push by a giant multimedia corporation to get people to buy tickets and keep the movie at the top of public mindshare for weeks longer than it deserves.
