Not in the foreseeable future. Nothing to do with technology. Earth passes Mars once every 2 years, at its closest it is 35 million miles away. It would take like 9 months to get there, you would be on Mars mandatory around 5-6 months waiting for a proper time to leave for the 9 month return trip catch earth as it passes the next time around.

No resupplies, no emergency return trips like Apollo 13, earth will be on the opposite side of the sun before you even land on mars.

Robots are the space explorers for the next several generations.
