But, yes, I remember the day from 30 years ago. I watched the Godzilla cartoons. They were not normally shown on TNT, but were brought out for this one special occasion. It was my only time seeing them until I caught them on YouTube a few years ago. Then I went to my grandmother and grandfather's house for a family get-together. After that, I came back home and watched the remaining movies of the marathon. I miss cheesy monster movie marathons. TNT and Sci-Fi Channel would play these things pretty much every holiday. I was tempted to recreate the experience by watching the films on Max and YouTubing some 90s commercials, but I had other things to do. It's still a three-day Presidents Day weekend. Maybe I'll cheat and relive the experience tomorrow or Sunday. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
