If she's a dark purple elf with squiggly blue lines on her face, if she has a side buzz, if she's plus size, then she can be "the sexy one." It's good to have characters like that. Variety is the spice of life, my standard is not the only standard, and people should be allowed to express themselves freely. But I think that avant garde beauty standards being the only acceptable beauty standards is worse than vilifying beauty and sex appeal outright.
