The people who are using that book interpreted the Bible a certain way and just rejected evolution because they couldnt or wouldnt make it fit with their beliefs. That is the real problem. You dont have to be Christian OR believe evolution is a real thing. Thinking in dichotomies sucks so much and is the source of so many societal problems.
