Do you possess human intelligence/awareness of the previous human life? Do you get to specify the circumstance/location of the animal you become? These would greatly effect the choice.You possess the intelligence of the animal you pick and you don't get to specify the circumstances/location. The question pretty much boils down to which animal do you think lives the best life, like it would suck to be a prey animal for sure. You would be pretty well off as an apex predator or anything that doesn't have any natural predators.
