The only way out of a situation like that is to lead by example, and be like hey guys there's this fundraiser, and I'm gonna donate x amount and urge you all to do what you can or something like that I dunno. I mean having a billion dollars literally means you can cure cancer and still have generational wealth for your descendants

Yeah, I'd have zero problem if they announce a donation match or whatever, but straight up "I could solve this issue single-handedly but ehhhhhh" shit doesn't fly.
