Anybody with PTSD that can get triggered by a falling acorn really shouldn't be in a career where he has a f***ing gun. At best he should have been assigned desk work if this is the case.Sometimes you don't know what your triggers are until after you've already been triggered by them. And even so, sometimes it just takes the right combination of situational and environmental concerns to trigger your PTSD. Like some vets are okay with fireworks, knowing that they're going to happen. Some are not. However, if one went off randomly and without any expectation of it being a possibility then it could trigger them into an episode, even if they're otherwise okay with fireworks. Regardless, this dude was all kinds of fucked up and wrong --- The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
