AceMos posted... has dick all to do with silent hill There's an easily missable file in Short Message that states that there's a "Silent Hill Effect" that is spreading to locations beyond Silent Hill. There's a rumor that's what "Silent Hills" was going to be about, thus the plural. Basically taking the idea that being close enough to Silent Hill is enough to get crazy (such as in 4 or Homecoming), and then just saying "well it can happen anywhere now". Which does make it so that you're not confined to SH, allowing a bit more freedom of storytelling.
