In this context that would mean waifu culture, constant stream of porn/smut (4chan/Tumblr aare huge writing/drawing hubs), and flexible sexual tastes. This is also helped by an underrated factor in MLP's popularity: they're stupidity simple to draw. A ton of artists, sfw and nsfw, got their start in or got their fame from the fandom.
