It's basically something slapped together just to have Star Trek on the big screen. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock is basically "Whoops, we shouldn't have killed off Spock. Now we need an entire film to undo it." Star Trek V: The Final Frontier is "How cheap can we churn out a film?" It's not entertaining. It's just there. 5 has the funniest dialogue though. "~~What does God need with a starship?~~" Would be funny if he has one --- I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me.
