My brother in law works HR for the government in DC. Has been remote for a couple years now. I think theyre (not him, his bosses) are pushing to get people back in the office. His boss told him the reason is literally the economy in DC. With all those people remotely working, money isnt being spent in DC that was previously. Its so stupid.See, that's all the more reason why office space should be replaced with housing. That'll bring money back to those areas just instead of businesses serving people who work in the area it would be people who live in the area. I get that it's not easy to convert office space into condos but we're in a situation where we have too much office space and not enough housing. --- "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.
