You know, this reminds me...it's quite telling that very few *Japanese* media make any mention of Yasuke despite having a rather prominent role in history under Nobunaga. Slowly seems to be rectified, but still. He's not that prominent in the grand scheme of things, particularly since he entered Nobunaga's service in the last years of his life. In a way that largely works to Yasuke's advantage as anyone willing to write him into their story can do anything they want with him and nobody can really make claims of historical inaccuracy against him.
