| Topic | Now that the dust has settled, how was Street Fighter V? |
| AbsolutelyNoOne 11/04/23 11:22:46 AM #16: | by the end I'd say it was fine. the roster ended up being pretty awesome, the newcomers and music were a huge upgrade over SF4's. the gameplay has its moments, etc.
the gameplay also has its bad moments, and although over the time the models generally got better, when they were bad. oh man. and it's really hard to get over just how bad that start was. there were probably fighting games on the SNES with more offline content. even today I still use SF5 as a reference point of "how not to launch a video game". better than USF4 by the time it ended? probably not but I think you can at least make a case for it. better than ST, A2 or 3S? oh god no. --- Born to lose, live to win! ...
