Ah ok. So my other question is, there isn't like a league or tournament to determine fighters, it's literally just if someone challenges the heavy weight champion he automatically gets to fight him and win? No set of mini-bosses to fight before getting to the final form? So as long as you got connections and someone to help you get your foot in the door, you can just make bank?

Kinda makes it hard to determine the best. Why, if Dame beat Drago, but lost to Creed, and Creed beat Dame but let's say lost to Drago, then who would be champ. Not to mention someone having an off day or something I dunno

Yes there are leagues, but it doesn't work like it does with other sports like NBA where you have to compete to get into the play-offs. Normally you box in the amateur league first and then hopefully get lucky you attract a headhunter, sponsor, connections/network, etc. so they can represent you to get you gigs to find other boxers to fight, especially big names that will guarantee you big money. Which is why it was a big deal for Dame to fight Chavez, to get Chavez title and spring board himself into fame. It can literally be a rags to riches kind of story.
