Forgotten Land has been an enigma to me since it came out. For over 20 years now I've always been a fan of Kirby, moreso than the average person than I met online. I was always in the position where I was speaking praises of it to people who basically weren't interested. It's in my top 10 series both for gameplay and for music. So when this game came out... I felt like an outsider for not liking it. This game, of all games, was the one that really struck a chord with non-Kirby players and got super hyped up. I rank this game among my least favorite Kirbys, again from both perspectives of gameplay and music. And even the songs that became the most popular among the KFL fans, some of them are the ones that I dislike the most from the rest of the soundtrack. Roche Limit is probably the least interesting final boss song in the entire Kirby series. I cannot see what everyone else sees in it. Every single thing about this game and its soundtrack is the opposite of how it usually is, and I'm once again in the minority, but on the wrong side this time.

Meanwhile it's up against a new discovery which I liked strongly enough to double it during nominations. None of the 3 matches here are even remotely close.
