As someone with very mild claustrophobia and a dumb fear of being buried alive, being in that coffin in VR got to me a bit.

So neither piece of DLC holds a candle to the main campaign, but I credit them for not just doing more of the same. They were very much different modes. Almost different genres even. It's...kinda like RE6 actually. Only with very fun gameplay and an enjoyable story.

Why was Chris' called Not a Hero btw? Chris is like the biggest hero in the world and has saved the planet anywhere between 3 and 6 times.

End of Zoe was fucking cheese balls, but didn't go full on wink at the camera comedy or Evil Dead. Joe's tone was always serious still and the nonsense that went down actually made sense really. Very different and fun.

All I've got left are Ethan Must Die and Jack's Birthday which idk when I'll play. All the bonus gameplay modes, going for trophies, etc. I'll do 'em all eventually, but I think this might be it for now. What a game. Hell of a collection of DLC too. I actually liked the Banned Footage stuff the most, but it was all good bonus content. Nothing at all that felt ripped out of the main game or needed for closure. Yes, Lucas never got handled with Ethan, but that honestly never bothered me. Maybe a little bit of personal revenge would have helped like just Ethan slapping him around a bit or even giant mutant Jack yeeting him.

So that's it then. Thanks to everyone who posted and gave me info. Absolutely loved the game overall. It's the scariest Resident Evil. It has some of the best gameplay in the franchise and it could actually potentially be my favorite. I can see an argument being made for it being the best honestly. Too fresh to fairly judge, but it's top tier for sure.

The plan to continue on with the series is next October, finally bite into RE2 Remake and possibly 3.
