Punchy party! For as much as I like monks, this lot is... meh. Sabin has the same problem as every 6'er in that they're one note and then #whocares.

Yang was one of the only fake sacrifices in 4 that was a giant "wtf how" but then you see he and his wife are into... "knifeplay" and violence-as-alarm-clock and Jesus christ how did this come out in the 90s. He's REALLY GOOD in combat though and in Advance I dump Edge for him as quickly ad possible if I'm trying to speed to the end. After Years is unchanging, and even then, his daughter Ursula doubles up on the powerhouse fun (with bonus points to her for not being one of the failure-ass new characters like Harley, Calca, Brina, Ceodore, and the Eblan 4)

Lyse... maybe something got lost in translation. Yes, she's mimicking her sister Yda's appearance, but the only one who doesn't know it is your player character. Lyse gets "better" during Stormblood when the mask comes off, but she's still a headstrong airhead, and it gets a lot of people in Gyr Abania killed until she goes to Othard and chills out to bit. +1 bonus point for booting a Namazu into low orbit (they deserve it) but I prefer my kooky brutes a little more cerebral.
