Lucas WASN'T under Evie's influence throughout all of RE7. He was just that evil. The researchers in the mines "Cured" him quite early on so he could report Evie's activities to them.

Riiiiiiight. At the time I had no clue what the timeframe was on when they became infected or who exactly was who, so I assumed that was after the fact, but yeah. Wow. Lucas was the worst. Glad Chris blew his damn head off. Jack really should have paid a bit more attention.

I like that though. Does add a wrinkle that complicates things a bit, but Lucas did always come off as the worst of the fam. I'm surprised he was able to gain so much power with the lab, but I guess whoever was in charge didn't care how bad he was.
