Something to note about the behind the scenes of Not A Hero:

It was free DLC and the game originally ended with an advert promoting it but it was delayed twice from it's original release date despite being "Finished" because the devs thought it was shit.

And putting aside whether or not the DLC in it's final state is good or not. I can't really think of any other example of FREE completed DLC being delayed due to quality control because the creators thought it wasn't up to snuff.

I cannot imagine EA or Bethesda doing that.

. One downside though was trying to see Lucas' phone screen in VR.

You know I always wondered why they made Lucas' phone screen password so obvious in the game. I never put 2 and 2 together that there were probably thinking of VR players <_< (I didn't play in VR)

Glad we are going for Lucas. He's another one I'm not feeling too sorry for. Jack had a little redemption moment with the Ethan hallucination and both her and Margarete seemed nice enough pre-Evie. Lucas...kinda seems like a dick period. His laptop didn't do him any favors.

I'm wondering if he was feeding information to someone before he was infected or all after. I'd assume after, but I'm surprised he'd be able to while under Evie's control/influence.

RE7 spoilers:

Lucas WASN'T under Evie's influence throughout all of RE7. He was just that evil. The researchers in the mines "Cured" him quite early on so he could report Evie's activities to them.

Lucas is a complete psychopath. The researchers in the mines cured him of Evie's influence and he played both sides. He pretended to still be infected to keep Evie happy while studying her. He loved the mold powers, he loved torturing people like Clancy. He even directly tells Ethan this on the TV "Not all of us want to go back to the way things were!"

He also bossed around the Connections scientists he was working for AND made contiegency plans to sell out their research to a rival company because he knew he would be expendable when Evie expired.

You even find a note from him as a child talking about how he trapped a friend in the attic and laughed as they slowly starved to death. Then how badly the corpse smelt. (How the heck Jack and Marge didn't hear the child banging in the attic or smell the corpse is unexplained)

He is just an evil irredeemable colossal doucebag.

It's weird that Jack doesn't seem to know it
