Second chances are great and all, but when an account has spent 5.5 of the 6 months it's existed in purgatory, there obviously isn't much value in only temporarily banning it. Pure speculation, but I think there is a karma "threshold" where they will just keep putting you in purgatory. Then once you go below that threshold, ban hammer. Anyone remembers DSP9 or whatever his name was?
