That basically every "revelation" in that movie is just publicly available info but for some reason they get all the credit for "breaking" the story. It starts with a Spotlight journalist reading an article in another publication about how the church was covering up abuse and then they just go talk to the people mentioned in that article and learn the same info that has already been available. And then the editor reveals that he just has a list of abusive priests he's been sitting on for 20 years but never bothered to tell anyone about. sounds like bad story telling --- This is my sig.
