And maybe Nintendo can take some money from their legal department and put it towards developing new hardware?

They are developing new hardware, all signs point to it releasing next year, that and we've known for a while now that nvidia is engineering a chip for the Switch 2 that's based on the 3080Ti architecture.

It might actually be the best thing for Nintendo. As it is they are very toxic.

Would it though? Nintendo is clearly very happy with their current domineering console market share, and thanks to the movie, Mario is currently enjoying a renaissance of popularity. Everything Nintendo releases on Switch prints money. And, are they toxic? Or are they just protective of their IPs, as they should be?

But I'm pretty sure it would never be allowed, they are the third and only other console competitor.

Hopefully it will never be allowed, yes.
