It's because they can't / don't want to invest more money, because otherwise they couldn't sell Game Pass for that cheap. That's their business plan. I don't condemn anyone who falls for it. I just say, that people should be aware that they reap what they sow. I happily pay $70 for games when they're great, because they're worth it then. And because I want the studios and publishers to profit enough, so that they can make more games to my liking. I buy games I like as well, bought BG3 for full price even though im not gonna play through it right away, just to support great games. Game Pass is just fluff for me. And it seems like Microsofts drought is finally about to be over.
