The actual ending of the Arrancar arc was great it just dragged to get there and the fight in the manga felt a little rushed. The Fullbring arc has a pretty good ending but a lot of people just ignore it entirely. The problem with the ending of the last arc is that it just drops everything and ends very abruptly. From the current pace they are going at, the last season of this arc will probably be largely new material (and probably material from the novel) to fill that out.
