This raises a good point.

This topic is clearly referring to politics at the federal level. Hows everyones experiences at the state or local level? Sometimes it can be better.

Same with big business. Your local manager is probably just as critical of the rich fucks at the top as you are, and as long as your own workplace is pleasant, thats what really matters. Ive worked for big business before and the top 1% didnt bother me, because my immediate colleagues were all cool.
