It used to be Firefox, I remember very clearly when it was Firefox (I was in college at the time). Everybody forgets that when Chrome came out it completely changed the way we used a web browser and therefore became #1. After Chrome, everyone stopped using browsers that looked like Netscape clones and now all browsers look like Chrome clones.
