My aunt passed away before social media became ubiquitous and she stayed off of the internet but the only TV she watched was FOX News. Like 100% of the TV she watched was FOX News. She bought into some talking points but would openly talk about how embarrassing and obnoxious the Tea Party and Birther movements were. I always wonder if she would have become radicalized if she ended up getting a smartphone and getting her news from Facebook groups and Twitter.
