That's great that some people from Blue Sky are still in the industry. I had a friend who was a full time animator there and essentially gave it up when he was let go because Disney shut down Blue Sky studios. He's back to being an accountant and is making decent money, but it's still sad to see a guy so passionate about his hobby doing something he hates.
That sucks

I mean no matter how well regarded you are as a studio, you'll always have some crap movies. It's just timing if releasing said crap movies that are going to hurt the studio or not. Dreamworks can survive if this movie bombs, but I'm not sure the state of Pixar considering Lightyear bombed hard.
Yeah, DreamWorks will be okay. The recent Puss in Boots was stellar, and the Bad Guys last year was enjoyable as well.

However, Illumination has clearly bypassed DreamWorks as Universal's golden child.
