That mindset is sad, but I could see it happen. I believe this to be the reality of the situation, sadly. Do I think he was in the wrong? Yes. Do I think a former President is going to go to jail for holding on to documents? No. Will this kick the grievance machine that powers him into high gear? Yes. It's sad, but this is a blessing for him. The only thing he truly could go down for as a former President would be election manipulation (i.e. Georgia) but it seems that won't happen.
