the Raimi spiderman movies hold up so well. The fighting looks so much better than the modern movies, maybe because the Raimi movies don't over-rely on CGI so much
I wouldn't say it looks better than most modern movies, but I always thought they were great for what they were.
I still think about the two major fights between Spidey and Dic Ock in SM2 at the Bank/Clocktower and the Train. As a kid, I noticed the weird CGI during those scenes (though I couldn't explain what it was), but it didn't distract me. In fact, the way they looked and moved unnaturally enhanced the scene for me. It's like, yeah, they look like this when they fight because they're too superhuman beings.

Nowadays, I recognize it as somewhat shoddy CGI, but I still like to go with the explanation younger me came up with lol
