They even showed Earth 42 on the screen in big letters when he got scanned and it still took absolutely forever for them to get to the reveal that he was there. Other than that though almost everything was perfect. March 2024 is soooooo far away.

that they let a couple things breathe just a bit too long at the end.First it was
the fact that the machine was sending him to the wrong universe. The 42 was plain to see on the screen, so much so that I was confused when I realized they were setting up a reveal. When they flashed a massive 42 in the middle of the screen it an immediate "oh no, wrong universe!" moment. They should have just not shown it at all beforehand, they had already set up that it "detects the universe's DNA" so they had done enough to justify that it might send him to the wrong place, and then just flash back to a screen that the audience didn't see in real time.Second was
the reveal that Miles-42 was the Prowler. That whole sequence before he unmasked felt painstakingly slow.But neither of those things really detracted from an amazing movie experience.
