Even if the staff was alerted immediately, it would take a good amount of time to slow down, u-turn, and head back. At night, it's nearly impossible to find someone in the water In one of the Reddit threads on this, people with experience at sea were saying you get trained that if a person goes overboard, you do not take your eyes off of them. People are very difficult to see in the water, from a ship. Even if you're staring right at them, if you lose sight of them for half a second you'll probably never spot them again. --- Bosses are immune to the eat command so it won't be possible to end the final boss fight of the game by eating it. -VeghEsther ...
