Because associates degrees are mostly worthless unless you are transferring or you are doing CC for something related to trade/automotive tech or you are doing classes to become a LEO or paralegal. Nobody gets 5 associates because it's infinitely more valuable to just get 1 and then transfer for a 4 year degree. This is only a school "record" because no sane person would waste their time doing this.
