Honestly, they both seem like awful people.

Yeah, this was my take on the matter after the whole story came out.

Pregnant woman wanted one of the newer bikes that were in the docks but a bunch of guys were camping them. Rather than grab one of the older bikes in the first place like she ended up doing in the end she tries politely asking them to let her rent one of the bikes they're camping before growing impatient and forcing a confrontation by swiping the QR code and renting one of the bikes anyway. Some people are offended by the way she got upset and was calling for help too, but I don't really care about that aspect of the confrontation personally.

The men were abusing the rules of their payment plans to dock the bikes before they pass a 45 minute rental window and have to pay for their rides, not really an issue imo. But the dickish entitlement aspect was they felt entitled to have a claim on the bikes they docked during the gaps they weren't renting them. They also spent hours just riding around on the new bikes just for the sake of riding them and denying their use to anyone who actually needs a bike. When can't take a hint Nurse forcibly pushes through them to rent one of the newer bikes, they illegally detain the woman and prevent her from leaving with her bike, they than start recording their crime until she gives up and rents a different bike and than post it on the internet in an attempt to defame her.

Nurse started the confrontation and had no real pressing need to justify doing so, but the men escalated the hell out of it in a pretty horrific manner. Although really, the nurse was legally in the right the whole time, just rude as fuck, whereas the men were downright criminal so I sympathize more with the nurse.
