Topic | I'm gonna revive my effort to read, watch and rate every Stephen King story |
RuneterranSnap 05/26/23 9:51:08 AM #1: | I've got a pretty good progress towards reading them all already, but still got a ways to go. Guess I'll start with a list of what novels haven't read: The Long Walk Roadwork The Running Man The Eyes of the Dragon Thinner Rose Madder(I think?) The Regulators(started and failed a few times, now waiting to reread Desperation first) The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon The Colorado Kid Blaze Joyland The Wind Through The Keyhole Gwendy's Button Box Elevation Later Gwendy's Final Task Fairy Tale(probably next on my list) Any of his nonfiction except On Writing Novellas and short stories are a bit harder because I've done a lot of scattered reading over time, so there's very few I've read none from but quite a few I've only read partially. I'll just mark the short story collections as complete or incomplete(and I guess try and guess how much I've read?) and I'll do Novellas story by story Novellas I haven't read: Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption The Breathing Method Low Men in Yellow Coats Hearts in Atlantis Blind Willie Why We're in Vietnam Heavenly Shades of Night Are Falling A Fair Extension A Good Marriage If It Bleeds Rat And the short story collections I need to finish: Night Shift - would've gotten to this before but back when I was blitzing through King audiobooks this one was in terrible shape on audible, reading it now. I'm excited since it has a LOT of stuff that has since been adapted, but as of now I've only read Jerusalem's Lot. Nightmares and Dreamscapes - I wanna say I've read at least 75% of this, it's one I've picked up repeatedly and I'm excited to read the rest Everything's Eventual - was actually one of the first King books I ever bought, and I've read everything but The Little Sisters of Eluria which I skipped because I hadn't read Dark Tower yet, due for a reread. Just After Sunset - I've read, I think, through The Things They Left Behind, so a little less than half. Of course I stopped just before what's supposed to be one of his best stories of the decade, N. Bazaar of Bad Dreams - I've gotten maybe a third of a way through it, not my favorite honestly. I've also read Mile 81, Ur, and Blockade Billy just because I have them seperate. Think that's enough for the OP, currently reading Night Shift --- Joyrock/DSFlashlight/OctilIery ...
