She picked out the diamond and setting for the engagement ring. She also designed her own wedding band with contours. This was a great sigh of relief for me because if for some reason she didn't like the rings, then it was her own damn fault. My band is brushed yellow gold in the center with beveled edges (and the entire underside) in a glossy white gold.
