Any interaction a black person has with police is disproportionately likely to end in violence or death for the black person than a white person. White people know this. Calling for cops or help like she did deliberately endangered their lives. That was the second worst possible way she could have handled it. She could have filed a complaint for harassment and intimidation after. She could have immediately called CitiBike and said, "Dudes bullied me and took my bike. Cancel my order and don't charge me. I have it on tape and here's my receipt." She could have done anything other than escalating to the risk of police violence.
