After encounters like BBQ Becky, the woman who wouldn't leash her dog and threatened a black guy who was birdwatching, and a call to 911 over a black "woman" who was an 8-yo girl spraying lantern flies, there's little expectation anymore of black people being allowed to exist in public without harassment by white people. A lot of the benefit of the doubt has been eroded.
