Topic	What is a reasonable price to pay for a desirable PS2 model?

Because I am using PCSX2 on my computer and the reason I want to go back to the original PS2 is because I still own all of my games(just lacking the system) and PCSX2 doesn't run particularly well, so I just wanna go back to the OG. If owning a specific PS3 model can play PS2 games just as good as an actual PS2, I'd consider it even though I have little use for the playstation 3 itself. I assume it's just a hardware issue for something like that.
