And Christ, if abusive language on 261 is the benchmark, you might as well fold GFaqs entirely. God forbid they take a look at the game boards. Makes stuff like 261 look like chump change.
This is wholesale ridiculous and will just unleash the 10 or so trolls that made a billion accounts to troll 261 either here or 261 (most likely). If you have a website with non-video game centric forums, political discussions are inevitable. Not only is a ban on something like 261 pointless, but it deserves a better explanation than the weak and confusing one given.
Politics was a lot more severe than you think. There's nothing absurd about taking down possibly the most toxic board in all of the site. The idea that game boards are much worse is laughable.
