Some sections are a slog in recent chapters (avoiding the runners in Ch. 5 and the jungle navigation in Ch. 4), but generally the game has been pretty snappy and has avoided a lot of the cheap tricks/poor design choices that plagued similar games in the 80s and 90s games.
