As for narrative cohesion, in the PT Anakins motivations and priorities change on a whim, he wants everything and also wants nothing but padme. Padmes characterization is shallow, she's just a good person and a empathetic senator i guess but then becomes Anakins ride or die wirh no character outside of him and forgives him for murdering women's and children and marries him in secret. Then she confronts him when he does it again, but this time is upset and gets chocked out, pops out the two main characters of the next trilogy then dies.

Kenobi is a stalwart rule follower and in the second movie becomes anakins master and investigates the ridiculously convoluted clone plot which was instigated by a character we never see, dooku striaght up tells him that he ess involved in the clone plot and kenobi doesn't consider that suspicous at all and just ignored that info even after he gets f***ing attacked by a bounty hunter when heading to Kamino.

The bounty hunter who, i might add, got hired to kill senator amidala, so he hired another person to kill senator amidala, who then instead uses a Droid to do it, who then tries to use some slug thing to do it(IIRC). But it doesn't matter because she ends up getting captured in some grandiose fashion which leads to a big battle where jango conveniently gets murdered and they kinda just agree to keep using those clones that dooku definitely had something to do with.

Then in the third movie were supposed to believe that Kenobi and Anakin are inseparable and like brothers when we've literslly seen none of that and almost all their screen time up to this point has been separate from one another.

like at least kylo ren has consistent goals.
