I remember the thing that made me stop using Hulu was they implemented an anti-ad-blocker that instead of watching a 30 second commercial every 10 minutes, they would put up a 90 second splash screen telling you to disable your ad-blocker. If Hulu could do that over 10 years go, then Google could easily do it today. And there are workarounds for something like that.
