Pissed me the fuck off before I finally stumbled into it when I needed to make food to get through the cold section. You have to HOLD stuff... I don't remember them explaining that and it's been a long time since I played BotW, so I didn't remember. Seems like you always want to maximize your inputs (5) to get the most rewards. Finished the opening area, though I didn't beat that optional boss. Took the big jump and it was pretty neat marking some points of interest during the fall. I'm also on the fence about the building stuff. In theory it's neat but I found some of it to be a bit finicky, like when I was trying to get a hook on something at a right angle.
